Welcome to ChuksEkwueme Foundation webpage . We are a not-for-profit organisation concerned about empowering and repositioning individuals. We engage in diverse initiatives that unlock and harness erstwhile dormant potentials.

The Chuks Ekwueme Foundation has consistently over the years transformed the lives of individuals through intellectual empowerment using different means to achieve the target ranging from providing scholarships, mentorship programs and financial intervention and empowerment . Our scholarship offerings prioritise representation reflecting our strong advocacy for the inclusion of women in stem fields. Our initiatives align with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with particular focus on SDG 4. Quality education (SDG 4) plays a crucial role in achieving many other SDGs. By ensuring access to education for all, especially girls and marginalised populations, we contribute to poverty eradication (SDG 1), gender equality (SDG 5), reduced inequalities (SDG 10), improved health and well-being (SDG 3), and sustainable economic growth (SDG 8).

The foundation was established in 2021 by Dr. Chuks Ekwueme with a vision to address a pressing societal need. What began as a humble initiative has grown into a prominent and impactful organisation dedicated to making a positive difference in the world.

Chuks Ekwueme Foundation started with the recognition of a specific challenge or opportunity that demanded attention. Dr Chuks was driven by a deep sense of purpose and a desire to create lasting change.

What We Are Up To

Scholarship

Chuks Ekwueme Foundation partners with Startup Arewa to deliver scholarships across the 19 Northern States including the FCT. The scholarships cut across diverse STEM areas such as Embedded System/ Robotics, Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning, Web Development and Mobile App Development, Material Science amongst others. The Foundation also recently concluded its second phase scholarship in conjunction with a technological training centre in Abuja- UNICCON Academy. These scholarships cut across diverse areas of the technology field with a primary focus of demographic that are erstwhile termed marginalised.

Mentorship Programs

To facilitate meaningful interactions and foster growth, we have developed structured mentorship programs.These programs provide a framework for mentors and mentees to engage in regular meetings, set goals, and track progress. We offer resources, workshops, and activities that promote skill development, personal growth, and knowledge sharing within the mentorship relationships.

Extending a helping hand

We understand the importance of addressing the basic needs of vulnerable individuals and families,our initiatives focus on supplying essential resources to those struggling to access these necessities.
